On Saturday, December 19, Newnan Theatre Company will be hosting a Holiday Extravaganza Telethon! The six-hour fundraising event will stream on Twitch TV - a streaming service available to anyone with Internet access. NTC’s Holiday Extravaganza will consist of a variety of acts, including a story contest, holiday readings by local celebrities, song and dance performances, and cameos from some of your favorite characters from NTC past shows. Funds raised will benefit Coweta’s only nonprofit theatre company that produces live theatre with local, volunteer talent.


Any donations that we receive will help support the theatre operations while we remain closed during the Covid-19 pandemic. We are currently working to improve the theatre for our patrons as well as plan a new season that everyone will enjoy.

Contest Rules:

  1. Only one entry per person will be accepted.

  2. Entries must be no longer than 1000 typed words, double-spaced, size-12 font.

  3. Entries must be in English.

  4. All submissions must be work that has not been published previously.

  5. All submissions must be received by midnight EST, Friday, December 4, 2020.

  6. Submissions can be fact or fiction related to the December Holidays.

Salute to the Troops Photo Submission

We want to thank all who have served or who are currently serving our country!  We’re planning a special segment during our Holiday Extravaganza Telethon to honor our local veterans and active-duty military members.  We need your help!

Send us a photo and/or message of your military loved one, and we will include it in our telethon segment!

Make sure to include name, military branch, and who is sending the message.  Then tune in to our Holiday Extravaganza Telethon on Saturday, December 19, to see your special shout-out.

Deadline for photo submissions is Friday, December 4, 2020.
