The Wizard of Oz
Sep 3–6, 10–13, 2015
by L. Frank Baum; adapted by Frank Gabrielson' score by Harold Arlen and E. Y. Harburg
This stage version of the screen classic uses the most recognizable music of the movie’s score, including "Over the Rainbow," "If I Only Had a Brain," and "Ding Dong, The Witch is Dead." L. Frank Baum’s classic tale is a family favorite. One day a twister hits young Dorothy’s farm and carries her away over the rainbow to another world where she and her dog, Toto, meet the Scarecrow, the Tinman, and the Cowardly Lion, and travel to the Wonderful Land of Oz to meet the Wizard who can help them all get what they wish for most.
